Before your arrival in Florence – Orientation

Of course you will receive all the information you need about programs, prices and conditions concerning the registration, as well as, if required and possible, the documentation required to obtain the study visa for Italy.

If you need accommodation (or choose a Holiday including it), we will book the required type for you and you will find out the details about two weeks before your arrival.

At your arrival in Florence – Transportation

If you want or need it, you will be provided with an accompanied transit service from Florence stations or Airport to your accommodation, by a Europass staff member or – if you are staying with a host family – a member of the family.

You can choose this service directly at the moment of your enrolment.

During your stay in Florence

Info desk, library, video library

When you arrive, we will welcome and inform all the students about the course organisation and how to get around the city (transport system, shopping timetables, supermarkets, etc…). Our staff will be at your disposal throughout your stay to answer your questions and help you solve any kind of problem.

You will have available a wide collection of literary, historical and artistic books and guides about Florence, Tuscany and Italy as well as a great selection of DVDs, including Italian movies and documentaries, to enjoy in your free time .

Leisure activities, sport clubs, gyms and swimming pools

We will offer you a program of cultural and recreational activities and you will be provided with all the information you need to practice your favorite sport, as well as being offered special reductions for gyms and swimming pools.

Booking of museum tickets

If you want to arrange a visit to a museum or to an exhibition (outside of the already scheduled Learning Tours), just ask at the Info Desk and we will book it for you!

Health and Emergency number

In case of illness or accident, we will gladly provide you with information about doctors and hospitals.

Furthermore, we have a 24/7 emergency number: you can speak to our staff in English, German, Spanish and, of course, Italian!

Additional services

On request we can also offer further information regarding anything to do with your stay in Florence: Sim cards and contracts, bicycle and car rental, car parks, garages, hairdressers, travel itineraries; how to get the “Codice Fiscale” (if needed), where to buy tickets for the bus and stamps etc…
