Online Courses

Live Online Italian Courses: Lessons in a virtual classroom with a teacher and other students. Minimum duration of two weeks, with two lessons per week, each lasting 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Europass Agile Platform: Approximately 50 hours of exercises and activities on a Moodle platform.

Online One-on-One Italian Lessons: Individual tutoring sessions lasting 50 minutes each, conducted via video conferencing. The schedule is established in advance based on the student’s preferences, but subject to the school’s discretion.

Courses in Florence

Standard Italian Course: Group lessons with a teacher and other students. 4 lessons of 50 minutes each per day, in person, from Monday to Friday. Typically, from 9:00 am to 12:40 pm, but subject to the school’s discretion for other timings.

Intensive Italian Courses: Group lessons with a teacher and other students. 6 lessons of 50 minutes each per day, in person, from Monday to Friday. Typically, from 9:00 am to 2:50 pm, but subject to the school’s discretion for other timings.

Private Italian Courses in Florence: Individual tutoring sessions lasting 50 minutes. The schedule is established in advance based on the student’s preferences, but subject to the school’s discretion.

Learning Holidays in Florence: Group Italian lessons (4 lessons of 50 minutes each per day) from Monday to Friday, along with 3 cultural activities per week, at the school’s discretion.

“Italian Language and Cooking” Holidays in Florence: Group Italian lessons (4 lessons of 50 minutes each per day) from Monday to Friday, and a cooking course at an external school. Payment for the cooking course will be made directly through the external school. Further details will be provided after enrollment in the Italian course.

“Italian Language and Painting” Holidays in Florence: Group Italian lessons (4 lessons of 50 minutes each per day) from Monday to Friday, and an art course at a third-party school. Payment for the art course will be made directly through the third-party school. Further details will be provided after enrollment in the Italian course.

Summer Junior Camp – Italian Courses for High School Students: Group Italian lessons (4 lessons of 50 minutes each per day) from Monday to Friday, 4 different cultural activities per week, one-weekend activity, 5 lunches per week, one packed lunch during the weekend, accommodation with a host family (shared room + half-board).

Others

The enrollment conditions related to accommodations, cooking courses, art courses, and weekend extracurricular activities are not associated with Europass SRL and are not covered on this page.

Prices and Payment:

Prices

The prices change based on the duration or number of lessons and the date. VAT is included, and there are no enrollment fees. Teaching materials for Italian courses are included in the price.

Payment

Payment must be made in a single installment at the time of registration. Accepted payment methods include PayPal, Mastercard, or VISA credit and debit cards.

Upon request, for longer courses, it’s possible to make payment through bank transfer in multiple installments, paying 30% of the total price as a deposit and the remainder before the start of the course, but no later than two weeks before the course begins.

Cancellations and Refunds:

In case of cancellation by the student, EUROPASS SRL will provide a discount code for the full price to attend other courses. Alternatively, it will refund the full amount minus 30% of the total.

No refunds are provided for courses not attended, even for long-term courses.

In case of cancellation by the school, the student can either reschedule for a new date or request a refund.

National Holidays

On national holidays, there are no lessons. For each missed course day, the student will receive a 40€ coupon. No refunds are granted, and missed lessons are not made up.

Absences

  • Absences for personal reasons, early departures and late arrivals are not valid reasons to recover lessons or demand refunds.
  • To move or reorganize an individual lesson, the school needs to be notified at least 24 hours before the agreed time. If the absence is not communicated promptly, the lesson cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

Reductions

If there are only two participants in a class, the course duration will be reduced by 50%. If a student remains the only participant, the course will be converted into private lessons, amounting to 30% of the original schedule, and assisted classroom study for 20% of the original time.

Activities

If a student books more activities than those indicated by the school, a discount code will be provided as a refund.

Other:

Minimum Age

A minimum age of 16 is required for participation in the courses. Junior programs are open from the age of 14. Admission to minors under the age of 18 is possible with prior authorization from the parents, or whoever takes their place, to use public transport and participate in all the extracurricular activities organized by the School without the assistance of the school staff.

Student visa

The required documents for the study visa will be provided via email or, upon request, by mail. In case of visa denial, it is necessary to provide the institute with a copy of the rejection letter. EUROPASS SRL will retain €150.00 as administrative costs.

Photos and video

The school reserves the right to use photos and video footage taken by participants or third parties during the course or leisure activities for the purpose of illustrating its offerings. However, if a student chooses not to grant permission for the publication of such material, they are required to communicate their decision in writing to the School within one month from the conclusion of the course or the publication of the photo or video.

It’s important to note that if the school decides to use this material for promotional purposes or video production, students will be asked to sign a specific consent form.

Insurance

Students will be held responsible for any damage caused to the school structure. EUROPASS SRL denies any responsibility for the loss of personal belongings within its premises. It is strongly recommended to obtain insurance against theft, loss of personal property, accidents, or illnesses.

Acceptance of the regulation

Once enrolled, the student will automatically accept the conditions for enrollment at the school.
